She debuted in the 2010 Telugu film, Puli, playing the lead female role. The film was a critical and financial failure. She then signed two films, Amali Thumali (initially titled as Nanba) and Narasimha in Tamil and Kannada, respectively, followed by another Kannada film, Varadanayaka, a remake of the Telugu film Lakshyam (2007).
